M. W. Grand Master J. Edward Jennings Jr. Visits Dallas Lodge

At its regular meeting night on January 22, 2009, Dallas Lodge #182 had the esteemed priviledge of hosting the M. W. Grand Master of Masons in Georgia, M.W. Bro J. Edward Jennings Jr. and several of the Grand Lodge of Georgia officers.
The evening began with a delicious dinner of lasagna, salad, and dessert provided by our Junior Warden, Bro. Seth Cates, and his lovely wife Libby. This was capped off by the regular meeting of the lodge.
During the meeting, M.W. Bro. Jennings gave a talk that touched on several topics that were near to his heart. This included some information on the state of the Masonic Children's Home, the ChIP program, and a very engaging speech on time and it's profound effect on our lives - not only as masons but also as men.
It was a very engaging night and a good time was had by the many brethren (54 or 59 depending on who counted). Dallas Lodge is proud to have hosted the Grand Master and his officers and welcome them back any time they can make it!
