Master's Cup
In an effort to promote excitement for the various activities of the lodge over the coming year,
we will be awarding two versions of the Master’s Cup – one for an officer (excluding the Worshipful
Master) and one for a non-officer. The cups will be awarded based upon a point accrual system
wherein a brother may acquire points for his involvement in various activities of the Lodge.
Points shall be awarded as follows:

- 10 points per day for attending Grand Lodge Annual Communication
- Points awarded to a maximum of 10 points at once by recommendation from one member to another (a brother may not award points to himself)
- 5 points for being a part of the group who delivers or takes the Traveling Gavel
- 5 points for taking part in Work Day
- 5 points for participation in Fund Raising efforts either with Dallas Lodge or the Dallas Chapter of the OES
- 10 points for delivering a scheduled speech in lodge that relates to Masonic history, tradition, etc.
- 2 points for attending regular meetings
- 1 point for attending officers practice

Every brother wishing to take part in the points program will be required to fill-out a form similar
to the following and turn it in to the Point’s Administrator. Blank slips will be available in the
ante room and should be turned in to the Point’s Administrator or in to a basket on the Secretary’s
desk in the absence of the Point’s Administrator.
A points standing report will be given by the point’s administrator during the regular lodge meeting
on the 4th Thursday of each month. Points will be tallied through November 2010 and the awards will
be made during the Annual Communication of the lodge on December 9, 2010.
