Dallas Lodge Attends Grand Master's Forum
On Saturday, January 17th, 2009, several members of Dallas Lodge made the long trek downtown to the Atlanta Masonic Center to attend the Officers Workshop and Grand Master's forum.
The day began with the "Breakfast of Champions" - donuts and coffee. The meeting was then called to order with the Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother J. Edward Jennings Jr. presiding over the meeting. The Grand Master went on to recognize each of the Grand Lodge officers in attendance as well as all District Deputies to the Grand Master, and finally the committee members that were present. Each committee then gave an account of new things going on with their committees and changes that were coming.
The meeting then broke off into groups focused on the individual stations in the lodge where ideas could be shared amongst the brethren in attendance.
At 11:30, the meeting broke for lunch where chili dogs, baked beans, chips, and banana pudding were served.
A great time of food, fun and fellowship was had by all in attendance.
